The Hero of the Revolutionary 15th August 1975, Colonel Farook gave allegience to General Ziaur Rahman as the person who first declared Independance of Bangladesh in 1971. Under the leadership of General Zia and General Osmani, the 15th August Revolutionary Leaders fought the war of Independance. The Bangladesh Military made the victory possible. Sheikh Mujib and the AL have no contribution in Bangladesh gaining independance!
